Secure the building update

On Thursday, April 26 two students reported that they believed they saw a man with a rifle behind his back across the street from the playground.  The police were immediately notified and the school was placed in secure the building.  The officers responded and determined that the boys had actually seen a city worker who had a shovel on his back.

We are proud of our young students who immediately reported their concerns and to the police and staff for their prompt response to the concern and for ensuring everyone's safety.

phones are currently down

The phones are currently down in the main office at Rosemont including the message manager.  We are unable to access phone service at this time.  Sasktel is sending a technician out to repair the phone line.  If you need to get ahold of someone urgently please e-mail rosemont@rbe.sk.ca

Open house reminder

Just a reminder to the parents of our grade 8 students that the Martin Collegiate open house takes place tonight at 6:00 p.m. at Martin!  They are hoping to see all our grade 8 families there!

Important Traffic Update

Due to ongoing concerns, Regina City Police will be present at Rosemont Community School monitoring traffic.  They will be enforcing school zone speed limit, parking, stopping and all manner of traffic safety in the Rosemont area.  Tickets may be issued.

School zone safety is a serious issue and it is important that all drivers, including parents, are obeying the traffic laws.

Thank you for your co-operation
