Celebration of Learning

Friday, March 31st


You are invited to come to school with your child as they lead you in a celebration of learning. If your child's last name begins with the letter A-K, you areinvited to attend between 9:00 - 11:30. If your child's last name begins with the letters L-Z, you are invited to attend between 1:00 - 3:30.

Pi(e) Day Family Day

Families are invited to school on Tuesday, March 14th for pie and Pi Day math activities from 2:30 - 3:30pm.

Visit your child (childrens’) classroom for fun math then stop into the gym for pie!

It's another busy month at Rosemont. Check the online calendar or the front entrance  for events this month. A few highlights:

March 3: Gr. 2/3 (Franklin), Gr. 3/4, Gr. 5/6, 6/7 & 7/8 go skating

March 6: Gr. 7/8 outdoor ed. survival trip

March 8 - March 24: Gr. 7/8 to Campus Regina Public for practical and applied arts

March 9: Gr. 4 & 5 soccer team to afternoon tournament

March 14: Pi Day. Special Parent Event: Pi(e) in the Classroom from 2:30 - 3:30. All parents are invited to attend.

March 15: St. Patrick green & white day

March 16 & 17: No School

March 20: dress rehearsal for band.

March 22: Gr. 7/8 band to Optimist Festival

March 23: Jazz and Gr. 6 band to Optimist Festival

March 30: SCC parent council meeting at 6:30pm. All parents are welcome to attend.

March 31: Conference Day. We will be holding Celebrations of Learning to showcase the learning that students have been involved in throughout the year.


March 3, 10, 21 & 28: Parent Coffee time with Kokum Val from 9:00 - 9:30am. Talking about reading, math and working with your children at home. All parents are welcome.

Parent Coffee with Kokum Val

Next Parent coffee with Kokum Val will be on March 3rd, 10th, 21st and 28th at 9:00am. This week's topic is helping your child with math. Learn about easy ways you can add math to your conversations and everyday activities.

Rosemont School Community Council Meeting

The Rosemont SCC meeting will be held on Thurs., March 30th at 6:30 in the school staffroom. Childcare will be available. For childcare information please contact the SCC on the Rosemont Community School SCC Facebook page. For other questions please contact the school at 306-791-8466.


Let's Keep Healthy

Regina Public Schools reminds all parents and guardians to keep students who are ill, or not feeling well, at home. Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region recommends that any students demonstrating signs of flu should stay home for a full seven days.
