The City of Regina Waste and Recycling department will be in attendance (http://www.regina.ca/residents/waste/) with activities and games for families. Also, school staff have fun activities planned about recycling and the environment plus a great Earth Day snack!.

Spring Weather

Spring weather is very unpredictable. Each day we don't know if we're going to have rain, snow, wind or a sunny day. Please check Environment Canada online https://weather.gc.ca/city/pages/sk-32_metric_e.html or a weather app on your phone to see what the weather will be. Students are outside before school, at 10:30, 12:30 and 2:15 each day rain, snow or shine and need to be dressed appropriately. We also have a large amount of water in the schoolyard so rain boats are the perfect footwear! Also, check if your child needs a warm jacket, rain jacket, gloves or a hat because everyone loves playing outside but hates being cold.

Let's Keep Healthy

Regina Public Schools reminds all parents and guardians to keep students who are ill, or not feeling well, at home. Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region recommends that any students demonstrating signs of flu should stay home for a full seven days.

If you have any questions, please contact your school principal, Mrs. Harris.
