The Rosemont staff, students and community participated in a ceremony to raise the Treaty 4 Flag on June 21, 2018, National Indigenous Peoples Day. We began the morning at 7:45 with a pipe ceremony with Elder Peter Bunny and knowledge keeper, Jeff Cappo. At 10:45, we were priviledged to have Elder Frank, Jeff Cappo, Jayson Littletent, Rick Desjarlais, and the Martin and Rosemont Drummers and singers with us. We raised the Treaty 4 flag and participated in a school-wide round dance!
