Rosemont Helps Save Babies' Lives!

Rosemont Community School Staff, Students and SCC worked together to raise money for the Z99 Radiothon in support of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Regina General Hospital.  The SCC held a bake sale, we had a candy guess, there were classroom wars where each class filled baby bottles with change and the teachers made personal donations.  Altogether we rais

For this year's parent forum, Regina Public Schools will present an evening with Chief Evan Bray titled, "Community Wellness Equals Community Safety" on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Campus Regina Public.

Menchies

The Menchie's company has raised the price of the frozen yogurt product they supply to us. As a result, the new price of Menchie's will be $2.50 beginning Monday, March 18.  We will honour current Menchie's cards that have already been purchased.  Menchie's cards will now cost $12.50 to purchase beginning Thursday, March 14.

Celebration of Learning!

Friday, March 8 is the Celebration of Learning!  Here are a few reminders about the day:

1.  Families with last names beginning A-K are encouraged to come in the morning between the hours of 8:30-11:30 and families with last names beginning L-Z are encouraged to come in the afternoon between 12:45-3:45.

2.  Celebrations will last 15-30 minutes.

City of Regina changes

The City of Regina came to meet with us at the school to share some upcoming changes to encourage traffic safety.  The yield sign at the corner of 3rd and Horace will be replaced with a stop sign, the crosswalk on the south side of 3rd Avenue crossing Horace into the parking lot will be removed and the cross walk on the north corner of 3rd Avenue crossing Horace wi

SCC Attendance Matters winners

For the month of February, our SCC offered an attendance incentive to all students who had 70% attendance or less in the month of January; if their February attendance was 91% of better, they would win a $20 canteen card!  We are thrilled to announce that 4 students earned this incentive and have won a canteen card as a result!  The SCC has decided to continue to o

Soccer cancelled

Due to a transportation issue, out soccer teams scheduled for the March 1 tournament will be unable to compete today. We are exploring options to give the Smith/Brezinski teams the opportunity to play at a later date.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
