Believe it or not, but during the winter months when the wind chill is -25o C or colder often students don't mind being outside to play for a little while each day. Winter is long and the days spent entirely indoors are often even more difficult for those who like to play outside. This winter we are inviting students to join the Polar Bear Club at Rosemont.
The option to go outside will only be offered to those students who have returned a permission form signed by a parent or guardian. Students must be dressed appropriately: a winter jacket, snow pants (or two layers of pants), toque, mittens, face covering, and boots. Students with a signed form still may choose to stay inside during indoor recess. Students will always be supervised.
If your child is interested in this option, please ask them to pick up a form in the office and return it to their classroom teacher. Only one form per family is required
