Thanks to all of the families who came out to meet the teachers and to enjoy a meal with our school community! We are fortunate to have a committed group of staff members who gave up time with their own families to cook for and spend time with our school family. Special thanks to Ms. Blampied who stayed at work for 3 hours after her shift just to help out with the barbecue out of the goodness of her heart! Thanks also to our school counselor, Mr. Penny, for his excellent grilling skills. We are pleased to be able to offer our families a meal free of charge at our open house barbecue. We hope our community appreciated this event as much as we did!
Community engagement is a focus of Regina Public Schools and we hope to provide opportunities for our families to spend positive time together with our staff at various events throughout the school year. Keep your eyes on our calendar for upcoming family engagement events.
Special thanks to our SCC who have been helping out in the canteen and organizing school clothing orders! We are very lucky to have a wonderful group of parents working hard in our school and community!
