I want to send a shout our to all of the amazing, kind, generous people and organizations who brought clothing, toys, gift cards and money to the school to support the Shepherd/Buffalo family! Words can not express my gratitude! Here are a few of the many generous individuals and groups:

The response from our school and community has been OVERWHELMING.  So much so that we are now  encouraging donations of money or gift cards in lieu of clothing and toys.  The family is currently in a hotel and we have already received a tremendous amount of merchandise/clothing etc and they will not have room for more until they find new housing.  Gift cards and mo

One of our families lost their home in a fire.  We will be collecting the following items for them:

The SCC QSP popcorn order has arrived.  SCC members are hard at work sorting and organizing the orders.  They will be ready for pick-up this afternoon!

• Santa Store for prek am, KA and 1-8 students.

With our winter weather, students have a lot warm clothing items at school; mittens, scarves, toques, ski pants, coats and boots.  Many of these items look similar and so it is very important that you label your child's belongings.  We have had several items mistakenly go home with the wrong students.  Labels help parents, staff, caregivers and students to make sur

Facts about Attendance and Reading:

Our grade 3-8 students are at Martin for the play "The Little Mermaid" we have been told the play is running late and therefore students will likely not get back to school until 12:00 noon.  For those who go home for lunch, we apologize for the inconvenience and we fully understand if they are late returning after the lunch break!
