Hallowe'en Fun

Students are welcome to wear their costumes to school on Tuesday, October 31 to celebrate Hallowe'en.  Students are not permitted to bring or wear masks, and no weapons of any kind including toy weapons are allowed at school.  Costumes should be tasteful and school appropriate.  It is wise to leave accessories such as wands and other items at home to ensure they do

Smudging in Schools

Smudging is a tradition, common to many First Nations, which involves the burning of one or more natural medicines (plants) gathered from the earth. The four medicines (plants) commonly used by First Nations’ are tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass.

Orange Shirt Day

Rosemont Community School will be celebrating Orange Shirt Day; Every Child Matters on Friday, September 29 at 9:30 a.m.  We encourage all students and community members to wear orange shirts to acknowledge our commitment to reconciliation!  Community members and families are welcome and encouraged to attend our assembly.

My Time
