Thank you

Thank you to all families for helping us ensure all of our students were safely transported home yesterday!  A letter will be sent home with youngest children and only children today.  You can find a link to the letter here:

Adults in the school

Safety of our students is important.  All adults, even parents, must check in at the office if they are coming into the school for any reason.  For the safety of all students, adults should not be in the halls or the classrooms during the school day.

Belonging Awards

Congratulations to our belonging award winners:

PreK-2:  Virtue

Gr 3-5:  Kent

Gr 6-8: Tee

Staff:  Mrs. Yantz-Barton

We had a great presentation and visit from Saskatchewan Roughrider and CFL all star Don Narcisse.  He had some great advice for our students:

1.  Work hard

2. Always have a positive attitude

Celebrating Belonging

Our belonging assembly will take place Thursday, November 2 at 9:30 a.m.  We will be celebrating 3 special students who have demonstrated a sincere commitment to making others feel a sense of belonging at school!  All students are encouraged to wear Rosemont clothing to show our sense of team, spirit of belonging and Rosemont Pride.

Cold Weather

The snow has arrived and with it, the cold weather and some tricky driving conditions.

Students are expected to go outside for recess, please ensure they are dressed warmly and appropriately for the weather.  Boots, a warm coat, gloves or mittens and a toque are necessary in the winter.  Snow pants are also great to keep kids warm.
