Smudging in Schools

Smudging is a tradition, common to many First Nations, which involves the burning of one or more natural medicines (plants) gathered from the earth. The four medicines (plants) commonly used by First Nations’ are tobacco, sage, cedar and sweetgrass.

My Time

Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:30-8:30 My Time will be offering free drop in youth programs at Rosemont for 10-14 year olds. For more information call 306 777-7146 or visit Regina.ca/mytime.  All participants require a Participant Information Form signed by a parent prior to participating.

Orange Shirt Day

Rosemont Community School will be celebrating Orange Shirt Day; Every Child Matters on Friday, September 29 at 9:30 a.m.  We encourage all students and community members to wear orange shirts to acknowledge our commitment to reconciliation!  Community members and families are welcome and encouraged to attend our assembly.

SCC Clothing Sale

The Roesmont School Community Council is selling school clothing.  The deadline to place orders is September 29.  Please make Cheques payable to Rosemont SCC.  Order forms can be brought to the office with a cheque.
